Never Mind the Castle
We are this we are living
it is our watch now
we are the guards in the tower
the protectors of
the moat.
If it gets in we allow it
it is ours to own
whether we cower
or slept
at our post.
Neither the left
nor the right
block our center view,
if we’re conquered
it rests with me
with you.
